How personalized are the stories?

Each story is written specifically for your child using their name, age, interests, and companion character you share during signup. No two children receive the same story, and your child will never get the same story twice.

What ages is Nightly Stories best for?

Most families find it works beautifully for children ages 3 to 10. We tailor the language and story complexity to your child's age, so a 4-year-old gets a simple, warm adventure while an 8-year-old gets something a little more epic.

When does the story arrive?

Stories are delivered to your email inbox each night at 7:30 PM EST, just in time for bedtime. Your first story arrives immediately after you sign up.

Is the content safe and appropriate?

Absolutely. Every story is crafted with gentle, age-appropriate language designed to wind children down for sleep. No scary content, no violence, no inappropriate themes. Just warm, imaginative adventures with happy endings.

Is my child's information safe?

Yes. We only collect the information needed to write your child's story, such as their first name, age, and favorite things. We never sell or share your personal information with third parties. You can read more in our Privacy Policy.

How long are the stories?

Stories are tailored to your child's age. For younger children (ages 3 to 5), stories run about 400 to 500 words, roughly a 2 to 3 minute read, short enough to hold their attention and perfect for winding down. For older children (ages 6 to 10), stories are a bit longer at around 600 to 800 words, or about 3 to 5 minutes to read aloud together. Every story is designed to be read in one sitting at bedtime.

How do I cancel?

Just send an email to hello@getnightlystories.com with the subject "Cancel my subscription" and we'll take care of it right away. No hoops, no retention calls, no hassle.

What happens after the free trial?

After 7 days, your subscription automatically continues at $19.99/month. You'll receive a story every single night. Cancel any time before the trial ends and you won't be charged.
